MUAY THAI: Also known as the art of eight limbs for its use of punches, elbows, kicks and knees. Muay Thai is an ancient Thai martial art that is known for its effectiveness in battle as well as in the ring. Muay Thai has a rich history and tradition of well as being the national sport of Thai Land. Muay Thai is known for its simple techniques and training methods that can easily breakdown other more complicated martial arts. It is because of its simplicity that is so effective for self-defense and mixed martial arts (MMA). While other arts focus on multiple movements and attacks, Muay Thai focuses on doing techniques well with efficiency and effectiveness. Muay Thai also prides its self on having very few rules which allows its fighters to become proficient at fighting from kicking rang all the way to standing grappling and throwing range.
